I see all those titles. I hardly read any of them any more. Maybe because the action in my life has intensified.

How’s everybody else out there? We might take the temperature of our own community now and then. Now would be a good time. Something like the employee attitude survey I worked on with a consultant on a project at Ben & Jerry’s Homemade. Before Unilever.

My contribution hinged on the discovery of the counter productivity of the motto, “If it’s not fun, why do it?”

Nobody wanted to face the hard stuff. Corporate culture said they didn’t have to. Thus, they missed out on the benefits of productive conflict. Rumbling, as Brene’ Brown calls it.

That’s where trust is built. Also tools to use for when things get tough. Let’s add some effectiveness to our topics here on Medium.
