It would seem so from watching many media sources. But they are at the mercy of their sponsors. Short term corporate profits take precedence over sustainable, responsible values and ethical decisions. That’s eho sponsors stuff.
Don’t mistake the general, the average, or the most easily measured for the whole.
A good anthropologist understands that the informants who readily come forward are usually on the outside of the in group, and probably not on the inside of the out group.
But seek people in that very position and you will find your change agents. Then try not to alienate them, but empower them to do the hard work ahead.
Diversity exists where you least expect it. Diversity is the only way to save a monoculture.
