This is the nature of psych hospitals, supposedly therapeutic but it takes a huge amount of denial to accept the cognitive dissonance between what they say they’re doing and what we experience — from the terrible food to the punishments meeted out to medication resistors. The only thing I gained was a sense that they could not help me there.

So further masking, hiding, pretending to be well was the only way to get out. If one was caught in this, it inly proved the deceitful “resistance” was in need of further medicating.

Oh where were the peer support advocates when we needed them?
