This, yes it is! And yet, how are the differences in these “illnesses” determined? Bipolar, for instance, is not a diagnosis with a cause, but merely a description of mood lability or regulation. It comes from a lifetime of dismissive responses from the outside world, a feeling that one can never fit in, and the fact that we can act as-if, just to get by. But when we really need to get through to people, our intensity strikes fear. HSP is merely the tip of it.
