Yes.
After my initial curiosity-excitement-confusion and Oy! what did I do? Register for the seminar this afternoon. But really, this contest is one more effort that may generate quantity over quality. And resentment over regular committed writer contributions.

Take a systems view. Are we writing to tickle our bellybuttons and maybe our wallets? Or should we strive for long-view, sustainable pieces with ideas and resources worth reading?

My time constraints and values limit me to the latter.
